Laminate Flooring Maintenance & Care

Keep your laminate floors looking their best for years to come.

Proper Cleaning & Maintenance of Laminate Floors

Correct laminate flooring cleaning and maintenance will help protect your floor and extend its lifespan. Remove dust and dirt regularly using a soft broom, vacuum or microfibre mop, and wipe up spills immediately to prevent moisture from entering the joints. Laminate flooring has a durable, easy-to-clean surface and requires only light, regular care. Avoid standing water, excessive moisture, steam cleaners and harsh detergents that could damage the floor or leave residue.

Everyday Protection

Protecting Your Laminate Floor

Small habits go a long way in keeping your laminate floor’s surface layer and photographic design intact.

Trap dirt at entrances using dirt-trapping rugs to stop grit and stones from scratching the surface.

Felt Pads

Use felt pads under furniture and rubber castors on chairs to prevent scratching and indentations.

UV Protection

Use blinds or curtains to block UV rays, which can fade the photographic design layer over time.
